Aaliyah Hadid

Aaliyah Hadid was born on October 19, 1995, in Sanford, North Carolina, into a challenging environment with a broken home-her mother struggled with addiction, and her father was largely absent. She moved frequently during her childhood, living in over 20 places. Aaliyah attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, studying Spanish, Political Science, and Communications, becoming the first in her family to pursue higher education.
